AXioMA An accident and the inability to walk belong to the protagonist’s past as axioms, postulates that do not need to be explained. Each and every one of us is somehow touched by disability. As the storylines progresses, the finely interwoven threads of the plot unravel, showing how the main character feels like a burden not only to society, but also to his family, and to himself. Nonetheless, his story proves that anybody can get their chance to start anew. Thanks to a challenge invented by his friends, he manages to find his way and his place in the world. This has nothing to do with a mere show-off of exaggerate sympathy, but is in fact an expression of coherence of thoughts and actions, which together can plant the seed of equality. The values of friendship and love will allow all of us to find our way. |

The Whole Are you able to define yourself? Look around yourself. You might see many things that you surely know what they are and what they will only ever be. A stapler, a cup, a pair of scissors and even that funny bobble-head toy you have on your desk. They were created to exist as one thing and that is what they will always be; objects with a function. But how about You or your best friend or your neighbor? What about a living human being? WATCH TRAILER: https://vimeo.com/200555137 |

Thirst For Love "Roxana" The intention of THIRST FOR LOVE, a short documentary, is to educate people about the Iranian LGBTQ community in Los Angeles. This film shares the story of ROXANA, an Iranian transgender lesbian living in Los Angeles. By revealing Roxana's personal story I hope to stimulate dialogue around the Iranian LGBTQ community in Iran, Los Angeles, and around the world. Iranians who are part of the LGBTQ community in Los Angeles encounter challenges such as discrimination and stigma from family members, friends, and colleagues. Just over the past 5 years in LA, more men and women have come out to their families and friends. This progress is part of a quiet wave of acceptance the LA community is currently experiencing. |

Flowers of Ethiopia
The Surma tribe of the Omo Valley, Ethiopia...a place where mankind (and fashion) probably began. The children and teens appear innocent and beautiful, with their ornate body paint work and exotic head decorations made of flowers. The place appears peaceful and untouched, but in reality, life here is harsh with the tribespeople at frequent wars with neighbouring tribes over cattle grazing rights. The line between peace and war is very fine and very blurred. They can be so near to each other, yet at times appear so far from each other...

Strike
A black and white shot of a Chicago Land automobile mechanic shop that went on strike. The dark contrast and empty, space shows the voids a strike can place on a workplace as well as the families.
This area was shot because this is my Father's work rack for cars. Since the strike it is empty and the space seems loud and quite at the same time. I work at the same place of business. Not seeing my Father, while he's on strike, made my heart feel empty and confused.
