Melodrama - the web series
Morando Ebert, a film critic, mysteriously disappears before his wedding. His death takes place after it has entered into an abandoned cinema. Here we lose track of him. But the critic has not disappeared: it was "closed" in the movie theater, where he met two actors, Alida Bettini and Walter Mastrogiacomo (of which we have lost track years before), the protagonists of "Souls in the storm," the 'latest film screened in that room, then closed after the fire, which occurred just during the first of the movie. Meanwhile, the wife of Morando and friends try to find the critical disappeared. What happened Morando Ebert? |

Homogen delivers an intimate portrait of the Quebec gay and lesbian community where youth, parents, allies and dissidents can find real answers to their questions, without shame, judgment or taboo. The series elevates the personal experience to a universal level. In fact, it makes a difference by showing that in the end, there is no difference, after all. |

Life On Mars
Life On Mars takes a unique perspective as a show-within-a-show. David Mars keeps a daily diary in the form of a screenplay as a coping method for his anxiety. These private accounts become the “realest” piece of work he’s ever produced and this is the very screenplay that gets picked up by Ellie Blue, an up-and-coming literary agent who sees potential in Mars’ writing. As an audience, we experience David’s thought process from two perspectives: on camera as production of “Life On Mars” begins within the series, and behind-the-scenes with David as he struggles to come to terms with the fact his embarrassing life is being reenacted for the world to see. |
