In this short film, Samirah narrates her perilous life journey to achieve "The American Dream". As a refugee, it is soon obvious that she had no choice but to flee her wartorn homeland even though the journey meant facing the risk of death. And for Samirah, with that lack of choice comes uncertainty, when looking back, about the dream she chose. |

The Prodigal is the story of a young girl, Erin, who is completely devoted to her younger sister, and how her life is (or may be) irrevocably changed when she witnesses the death by accident of her sister due to the negligence of her father. It's a story about choices, the result of which may potentially set a person on a life's course that may have immutable consequences. |

Even with news of a massive solar flare threatening electronics and communications, Dylan’s mind is elsewhere wondering about the status of his relationship.
