Hi Stranger
It’s a short feature film of international quality. The film is based on the backdrop of the deserted premises of the office. The film is of thriller genre. The characters of the film are contemporary. The film is set in the basement which is possessed by the devil. The certain characters die in the deserted parking areas. The hero of the film also gets trapped and tries to come out of it and this leads to further confusion and scare. The film captures an unexplored area of thriller. The main hero is Pankaj Tripathi who has done excellent performance in the role of corporate boss. He steals the show with his charisma and charm. This role is path breaker for Pankaj Tripathi as he is playing a sophisticated guy and his performance is highlight of the film. The other casts are also excellent in their roles. The film is written and directed by Priyadarshi Sidhartha who is corporate guy working in a reputed organization in Mumbai. His writing and direction are flawless and we expect more such films from him. Hi Stranger is must watch for the movie lovers. |
Bandhan-A Perception
The irony of living in a civilized society is that every person is judging the next with some pre-set ideas. In case of transgenders everybody treats them like that only. They can not be friends or siblings, they can only be sex objects. In this film 'Bandhan- A Perception' we can find a couple, a transgender woman (Meghbalika) and a man (Goutam Sarkar) having some relationship between them. Everyone next to them judging them as sex partners or lovers. But in the second part we can find that they are not lovers or sex partners but siblings. In India Rakhsha bandhan is the occasion where a sister ties a rakhi on her brother's hand in the belief that he will protect her whenever needed. At the end of the film we find that Meghbalika ties a rakhi on Goutam's hand to show her love for him as sister, the relation of a brother- sister which initially was a misconception of society imagining them as sex partners. The social message of this film is not be judgemental or carry pre-set ideas. As a member of the global community it is our moral duty to reflect on our own actions without pre-set ideas. This film makes an attempt to reminds us of exactly that. |

Game Of Scones
What if the brutal and medieval families in Game of Thrones lived in today's world? What if they owned pastry shops? What if they all fought for control of a corporation that owned all those pastry shops? Nine families, 7 bakeries, and scones. It is the story of the "Seven Bakeries", the ruthless families that own them, and how they will fight for control over the ultimate prize: "The Iron Scone, Inc." |
Cuffing Season
It is cuffing season, that time in the fall when people begin to pair up before the lonely winter sets in. An intelligent philosophy student sees two other versions of himself in a park, both trying to talk to the girl he wants. In his imagination, he sees himself working up the courage to talk to the girl, but he is unsure which of his three personas he should present to her. The girl is an artist who reveals a drawing that refers to Magritte's "Not to be Reproduced." This reference highlights the anxiety and self-consciousness which we all face in the dating world. Shot on 16mm with a Bolex. |
