She is a blood slave; donor of young blood - the fountain of youth. Meanwhile, her brother is participating in a documentary about missing persons - persons sold into the blood-trade. |
On Pointe
A man has been at an psychiatric ward for years with an unnamed mental illness. During a specific session with his therapist, the man finds himself creating an alternate universe in which he is in a relationship with his therapist. Left open-ended, it is up to the audience to decide whether or not this man is simply "crazy" or whether this was an actual event that took place. This short film is about role reversal, dominance and the mind’s capacity to break free from a trapped environment. |
At Ease
Duncan is a solitary Marine, fresh off a tour from Afghanistan and considering the potential for his life after the Marine Corps. Arriving at his hometown, Duncan is immediately thrust back into the world he left behind. He's reunited with his loving family: a tight-lipped father, a drastically concerned mother, and a hyped up 12 year-old sister. But there's only one thing on his mind –– attending his ex-girlfriend's wedding. |

Leah is a young girl just started her first year in college. She wants to share her experience in this new environment by doing on line Vlogs. After a while the calmness of the University life is disturbed by a neighbour who is becoming obsessed with her. His obsession turns Leah’s life into a nightmare and her Vlogs to personal diary of her everyday madness. |
ROBOT HEART
Adrian is a child prodigy who has social acceptance issues and just wants to fit in. The young boy combines his need for acceptance with his love of science to create a Robot and that is when the fun begins. The film is a children's driven story that was created in homage to 1950's Robot films, Italian New Wave and Italian Neo-Realism with a budget of $100.00, one camera and only two lenses. This film also marks the first feature length film for writer/director as well. |

The story offers insight into the world of Marjorie (Nick Moon), the ever-present woman inside Mark, who after 35 years of hiding, is revealed to the world after an office incident. As Marjorie finally experiences being subjected to a society that now extends further from solely her bedroom; she suffers from prejudice from society, and is attacked. After struggling to recover from it, Marjorie decides to revenge those who oppressed her as her way of externalising her self-acceptance. |
Attached at the Soul
Donald Kline struggles with having to leave his wife Margie’s death bed in order to attend a ceremony where he and his wife will be honored for their life time achievements, which include promoting diversity, equal rights, and acceptance. Donald’s daughter, Theresa, however, convinces him that going to the ceremony is the right thing to do. Donald reluctantly goes to the ceremony, but he is only there physically; mentally, he is back in time to the 1950’s when he first met Margie. We see their struggles as two teenagers from different ethnic backgrounds growing up in the racially divided South. They open their hearts to find acceptance, friendship, compassion, and love. When Donald finally becomes both physically and mentally present, we realize just how close and attached he and the love of his life, Margie, really are. |
A Work in Progress - The Breakfast Composer
Mic Kellogg is a vocalist and producer from Madison, Wisconsin. Growing up with police officer and firefighter parents, Kellogg lived a relatively sheltered youth. Only discovering rap after stealing his brothers CDs, he made the decision to pursue a life of music that wouldn't follow the cliché "fuck the police" mentality. After embracing his family name and releasing his debut album, "Breakfast", producer and vocalist Mic Kellogg tells his story. "A Work in Progress" is a documentary film series surrounding individual creators, in an attempt to illustrate the many ways that unique artists create themselves through their respective forms of expression.
