OFFICIAL SELECTIONS
Fiore etilico (Verderame)
The videoclip "Ethilic flower” develops a symbiothic relationship with the song itself: the characters express their thoughts through the song’s lyrics and their odd movements follow exactly the music’s rythm. The editing obsessively follows the rythm of the song, linking together subliminal images (281 cuts) of two parallel and complementary worlds: the real life and the narration. The first one shows metaphorically a power game between a man and a woman, while the second displays a strategy represented by a chess game between Cristiano and Riccardo, the bass player and the drummer, respectively. The singer, Fabrizio and the guitarist Valerio acts as narrators, in constant balance between the two dimensions. The purpose of our videoclip is to make the audience feel the very meaning of the “ethilic flower”: the shortness of breath before the surrender. |

All those little things
This song is about an old man serenading his wife on her deathbed with lyrics looking back on their collective life. „We gather all those little things, Everything a lifetime brings, I always cast an eye at you, I carry the light, my whole life long.“ Austrian Artist Georg Kuttelwascher and "Prime Time Killer" Wolfgang Eisler shooted a tiny film, in which he shows the sobriety of fast pace on the one hand and perverts the meaning of epitaphs by composing life-affirming embassies on the other hand. So everything will be all right in the end: „I pray to god that maybe he blows up my mind, our tape of memories I play and I rewind.“ WATCH NOW https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jW_k-37JYx0 |
