Watching Over You
Katariina is a preacher’s daughter. At sixteen, she is growing up in a charismatic Christian movement, trying to reconcile the life of an ordinary high school student with the fundamentalist world view of her congregation. Every step of the way, she is being watched over by Gabriel, an angelic figure who grows ever darker as a reflection of Katariina’s changing relationship with religion and with her own stern father. Watching Over You is a diploma work of the Turku Arts Academy Film Arts programme. |

Dreams are invaded and they must fight to save not only there physical bodies which have been frozen in a trancelike state, but also their souls which wander alone trapped In Limbo. |
THE NORMANS
The Normans, a family under the careful protection of Ron Norman (Devin Hawes) who feeds his Dark Master the souls of the unfortunate, are on their last threads as Annabelle Norman (Angie Hawes) and her sister Sophia (Kayzhia Snow) are turned into the darkness of corruption from their father's evil influence. They now look to their mother, Crystal (Valentina Cardinalli) to draw one last line in the sand to save them from the coming darkness that has encompassed the family. |
The Man Who Couldn´t Cry
“The Man Who Couldn’t Cry” is a modern day fairy tale in black and white that tells the story of a man (Eamon) who never shed a tear in his life. Having watched other people cry, he realizes that he is different than everybody else. Eamon is fascinated by people who are able to show their emotions and doesn’t just record them crying with his camera, but also collects their tears in test tubes. When he meets Emily, a young woman who can’t stop crying, he overcomes his shyness and invites her to stay with him. Two strangers, who couldn’t be more different from each other, share an intense time together that changes their lives forever. |
