OFFICIAL SELECTIONS
At Ease
Duncan is a solitary Marine, fresh off a tour from Afghanistan and considering the potential for his life after the Marine Corps. Arriving at his hometown, Duncan is immediately thrust back into the world he left behind. He's reunited with his loving family: a tight-lipped father, a drastically concerned mother, and a hyped up 12 year-old sister. But there's only one thing on his mind –– attending his ex-girlfriend's wedding. Accompanied by his long-time burnt-out best friend Hunter, Duncan’s nerve starts to break upon arriving at the church. Not even Hunter’s laid-back pep-talk or a healthy dose of liquid confidence can get Duncan inside. Little does he know, his ex-girlfriend Kara, has been having a crisis of her own. When her Runaway Bride Act sends her careening into Duncan’s path, he reluctantly helps her escape... and in the unexpected aftermath, learns that coming home is never as easy as you expect. |
The enemy is out there
Four boys and girls, strangers to each other, wake up in an abandoned house in the middle of the forest without any memory of the night before. As they try to understand where they are and what has happened, from the speakers above, a voice incites them to prepare themselves to fight for their survival. Lots of weapons around the house mark even more the gruesome invitation of the voice. Uncertainty grows, as time inexorably flies by, while anonymous figures surround the house. |

They became life long companions, admiring and motivating each others creative energy, until one day Amrita's soul left her body, but she never left Imroz she still lives through her poems and will continue to live through Imroz's paintings This visually capturing movie is an attempt to relive those beautiful moments between Imroz and Amrita through Imroz's memory lane.
