Synesthesia
Can you see the rainbow of a melody, taste words as you speak, or solve complex math problems by their personality? If you can, you were born with a fascinating condition called Synesthesia. Interviewing a neurologist from USC's Brain and Creativity Institute, and the pianist from popular 70's band Rolls Royce, journalist Joshua Adams seeks to describe what exactly is Synesthesia, how we know about it, and what we still are trying to understand. Along the journey, Joshua learns more about his own "blended senses" experience as a musical synesthete. |
