The Routine
”The Routine” is a charming, sweet film about loneliness in different generations in today´s society, says that it´s important to pay attention and spend time with each other, and it often doesn’t take much to make someone happy. Alma is old with a life based on the same routines. All of the sudden the days don’t carry that much joy and spontaneity anymore. She feels like the world spins to fast without her being able to pay attention. But one day someone knocks on her door and will turn her routine up side down. |
Pocket Dial
A girl (Laura) is woken up by a phone call from a blocked number early in the morning. It is a pocket dial, as she listens in she over hears two men torturing a man for information. These men are human traffickers and a potential victim got away. Laura explains the events to a friend (Stace) over drinks. Stace quickly disregards the phone call as a prank. In a twist of fate Laura is more connected to this crime than she will ever know. |

The Gift
This is the story of Angel - a cab driver, who meets an elderly couple on his last call for the day. The absent looking old man suffers from Alzheimer's and his broken photo camera seems to be his only link to the present. The events that unfold will make Angel and the elderly couple spend a few hours together and will bring back memories and hope long lost. |
